Once you have found a property you are interested in, please contact us to arrange a suitable viewing time.


When we have found the right property for you and you wish to apply for this property, you will be asked to fill in a tenant application form. You must provide us with photographic identification, in person, at this point.


Relevant letting fees and tenant protection information

As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments.

Before the tenancy starts (payable to Castle Homes Lettings Ltd ‘the Agent’)
Holding Deposit: Of 1 week’s rent to secure your appliaction, if the application is successful this holding deposit will be allocated to your advance rent or your security deposit.
Deposit: Equivalent to 5 weeks’ rent

During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)

Payment of £50 inc VAT if you want to vary or assign the tenancy.

Payment for breach of the tenancy agreement up to the prescribed limit.

Default fee for late payment of rent (after 14 days)

Payment of £50 inc VAT for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices

Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy

During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable

Utilities – gas, electricity, water
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite
Subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax

Other permitted payments

Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.

Tenant protection

Castle Homes Lettings Ltd is a member of ARLA Propertymark, money protection scheme C0131665, and also a member of The Property Ombudsman, which is a redress scheme. You can find out more details on the agent’s website or by contacting the agent directly.


Your application will be assessed by an independent referencing agency. This will include a credit check and past tenant referencing. Once you have passed and are accepted for this property, you will be asked to pay your deposit to secure your tenancy.


A minimum of 5 weeks rent will be held as a Deposit.


Pets are considered at some properties.


A full photographic inventory will be provided to you at move in.
